By accessing or using Simple Security ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Simple Security provides external attack surface management (EASM) services including but not limited to:

  • Domain and subdomain monitoring
  • SSL certificate monitoring
  • Port scanning and vulnerability detection
  • Data breach monitoring
  • Security header analysis
  • Automated security alerts

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scan domains you do not own or have explicit permission to scan
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent security measures
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service to harm others or their systems
  • Share your account credentials with others

5. Payment and Billing

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
  • Failure to pay may result in service suspension

6. Service Limitations

While we strive for accuracy and reliability, Simple Security:

  • Does not guarantee detection of all security vulnerabilities
  • Is not a substitute for comprehensive security practices
  • May experience occasional downtime for maintenance
  • Provides information for alerting purposes, not legal advice

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Simple Security and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIMPLE SECURITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
